Codefi, a Cape Girardeau-based tech venture and workforce development firm, has announced a new articulation agreement with Missouri State University–West Plains (MSU-WP) aimed at expanding access to higher education for tech learners across the region.
Under the agreement, graduates of Codefi’s Code Labs program will now be eligible to receive 14 credit hours toward an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Information Science and Technology at MSU-WP. The partnership opens new doors for adult learners by translating job-ready training into academic credit, fast-tracking their educational and career advancement.
The agreement aligns with Codefi’s Innovate SOMO initiative, which aims to connect communities throughout Southern Missouri with modern education and employment opportunities in the digital economy.
The collaboration marks a significant milestone in strengthening Missouri’s tech talent pipeline and making higher education more accessible and relevant to today’s workforce needs.
