Springfield, MO. – Community Blood Center of the Ozarks, or CBCO, is currently in a critical need for O-Negative blood.
Officials with CBCO State “Our current supply is dangerously low and one major blood usage event could put patients at risk.” CBCO is the main supplier of blood, plasma and platelets for hospitals across the Ozarks.

Michelle Teter, media relations rep for CBCO states that several blood drives will be present in the listening area over the next few days:
Teter also goes on to explain benefits to donating blood, which includes tickets to multiple attractions in Branson and Springfield.
