At 3:54 a.m. on Friday, April 17, 2026, resident Gary Beach, DOC No. 1020264,
confined at South Central Correctional Center, was pronounced dead at Phelps County
Regional Medical Center in Rolla, Missouri.

Beach was a 83-year-old resident serving a life without parole sentence for five counts
of first-degree murder and five counts of armed criminal action from Jackson County.
Beach was received in the Missouri Department of Corrections on April 19, 2002.
An autopsy will be conducted.
