Distribution Day at Ozark Action for Christmas Took Place Wednesday

When the Christmas program at Ozark Action was in risk of not being possible this year, the West Plains R-VII school district stepped up to make it possible.  Please see the video with interviews here.

This year members of the West Plains Student Council Members volunteered and helped families load the toys up at Ozark Action.

Cindy Cowens stated that 114 applications were processed and they joined forces with Toys for Tots and the Elks Lodge to help as many families as possible.  Each organization has different guidelines so they teamed up to make a difference for as many as possible.

This particular program was started and guidelines were set by the West Plains Chamber of Commerce.

If you would like to be a part of this amazing program contact the Ozark Action and find out how you can get involved as planning for next year will begin next month.

Thank you to The West Plains Chamber of Commerce, Ozark Action and West Plains Schools for your hard work making a Merry Christmas for so many!
