Douglas County deputy arrests three on multiple felonies

On October 31, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office received a call from caretakers of a property in the area of U Highway and County Road 117 in Douglas County. The callers had issues in the past of the property being vandalized and broken into; however, at this time the caller had actually caught three people in the act and had them detained at gun point.
Caller stated that the suspects have a vehicle full of stuff and that the suspects appear to be under the influence of something. Deputy Nathan Long responded.
Deputy Long arrested one male and two females subjects, seized a firearm, and towed several vehicles one of which was reported stolen out of Greene County and one that was bearing a stolen license plate out of Wright County.
The following subjects were taken into custody on a 24-hour hold while Deputy Long applied for warrants through the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, and warrants were issued for the following:

It is obvious that community awareness such as this is one of several recent incidents that the public has assisted in the arrest of the suspect.”
