Ava, MO. – The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is now taking applications for the 14th annual Shop-With-A-Cop. This applies to children within Douglas County. The Sheriff’s Office organizes this by partnering with the local Wal-Mart and applying for grants the store issues.
In addition, three other businesses have become sponsors to make this year more successful: White River Valley Electric Co-Op, The South Central Missouri Citizens Advisory Board, and Emerson Climate Technology.
