MELBOURNE, Ark. — Ozarka College will welcome Dr. Brooks Blevins to its Melbourne Campus next month as part of the Ozarka College Speaker Series.
The event, titled “Stories of the Ozarks,” is scheduled for Tuesday, March 10, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and will be held in the Melbourne Campus Lecture Hall. The presentation is open to students and members of the public.
Dr. Blevins, a nationally recognized historian and author, is known for his extensive work documenting the culture, history, and people of the Ozarks. During the program, he will share stories and insights that explore the region’s past and its continuing influence on life in the Ozarks today.
College officials said the speaker series is designed to provide meaningful educational and cultural experiences while strengthening connections between Ozarka College and the communities it serves.
