Just after 3:00 a.m. the Baxter County Sherriff’s Department arrest James A. Ford Jr. on numerous drug charges. Ford was arrested for possession of a schedule VI substance with purpose of delivery, possession of meth or cocaine with purpose of delivery, possession of a schedule III substance with purpose of delivery, open container of alcohol in motor vehicle, driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, refusal of a chemical test, and speeding more than 15 mph over the posted speed limit. Ford is being held in the Baxter County Jail with a $15,000 bond and he is scheduled to appear in court Monday April 21.
