efactory and The Great Game of Business® Launch Partnership to Empower Local Entrepreneurs

A powerful new collaboration is set to transform the way businesses grow and thrive in southwest Missouri. efactory and the Missouri SBDC at Missouri State University have announced a new partnership with The Great Game of Business® (GGOB) — the groundbreaking system known for helping businesses achieve stronger results through transparency, engagement, and shared accountability.

This innovative partnership will expand training and consulting services across the region. Starting this fall, efactory will roll out a full calendar of in-person GGOB training sessions, including workshops on Financial Literacy, MiniGames®, and other core principles. These sessions are designed to support both existing GGOB practitioners and businesses eager to build more aligned and financially informed teams.

As part of the partnership, two Missouri SBDC business consultants will become certified GGOB coaches, offering tailored implementation support for small business clients throughout the region.

GGOB is already being piloted through efactory’s Entrepreneurship Intern Program, where students and participating companies are using MiniGames to apply financial and teamwork concepts in real-world scenarios.

Developed in Springfield in 1983 by Jack Stack, co-founder of SRC Holdings Corporation and author of The Great Game of Business, the system has gained global recognition for transforming the way businesses operate. Now, thanks to this partnership and funding through the Missouri Department of Economic Development’s ARPA Community Revitalization Grant, its impact will be even greater in Missouri.

More details and a fall training schedule will be announced soon. Stay tuned at efactory.missouristate.edu.
