According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, troopers responded to a 911 call that was received at 3:48 p.m. reporting a vehicle fire on Highway 63.
The driver of the vehicle managed to pull off the roadway into the parking lot of Legit Speedway south of West Plains as the fire broke out.

The vehicle involved was a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado towing a gooseneck trailer, the truck was also equipped with a 60 gallon fuel tank.
Firefighters responded and extinguished the fire. We will provide more details if they become available.
