On Thursday a single vehicle accident occurred one mile north of Eminence on highway 19 when a 2017 GMC Sierra skidded off of the roadway and impacted a tree.
The driver, a 23-year-old Eminence man, Austin Frisbie sustained serious injuries and was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.

He was charged with DWI, Careless and Imprudent Driving, No Insurance, Failure to Register a Motor Vehicle, and No Seatbelt.
