Explore West Plains Guidebook Offers Locals and Visitors a Summer Resource

The 2025 edition of the Explore West Plains Guidebook is now available, offering 112 pages of information, attractions, and activities that showcase everything the area has to offer. Whether you’re a longtime resident or visiting for the first time, the guide is a perfect companion for summertime adventures.

The guide is free and can be picked up at the Ozark Heritage Welcome Center at 2999 Porter Wagoner Blvd., Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Organizers encourage event planners, businesses, churches, and community groups to take advantage of the guidebook as a welcoming tool and promotional resource. It’s ideal for sports tournaments, weddings, reunions, conferences, and group trips, and serves as a great way to support local businesses and promote tourism.

For those within West Plains city limits, a box of 30 can be delivered by calling 417-256-8835. The guidebook is also available by mail for addresses outside the area.
