A 70-year-old Birch Tree Woman was pronounced deceased at the scene in a accident in Shannon County Christmas morning. The accident occurred when she pulled into the path of a Ford F350 driven by a 57-year-old Couch man in a Pontiac Sunfire on US Highway 60 one mile East of Mountain View.
The driver of the truck did not sustain injuries, the female passenger sustained minor injuries and was taken to Mercy St. Francis Hospital in Mountain View.
