A 61-year-old woman from Williamsville Missouri was pronounced deceased after an accident 1/4 mile east of Van Buren on Highway 60 Saturday afternoon.
The accident occurred when the 2011 Kia Optima she was driving failed to yield to a 2012 Ford F-350, driven by a 68-year-old Arizona man. The ford struck the Kia causing both vehicles to cross the centerline and drive off the left side of the roadway.

A passenger in the Kia Optima was flown to a Cape Girardeau Hospital, the driver and two passengers of the Ford F350 were taken to Poplar Bluff Regional hospital for treatment.
This was Troop G’s 23rd Fatality this year.
