A Mountain Grove man was killed early Saturday in a single‑vehicle crash east of Seymour. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the 51‑year‑old was driving a 2008 Dodge Nitro eastbound on U.S. 60 when the SUV ran off the roadway, struck a sign, overturned, and ejected him.
He was pronounced dead at 2:30 a.m. by Webster County Assistant Coroner Robby Journagon. Troopers say he was not wearing a seat belt.

This marks Troop D’s 26th traffic fatality of 2026. Next of kin has been notified.
