FEMA will have a Disaster Survivor Assistance (DSA) Team at the Bakersfield R-IV School FEMA Shelter Fri & Sat, Jun 6th & 7th from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day.
This is for individual assistance for those impacted by the March 14th tornado (private individuals and businesses). Even if you have already filed for FEMA assistance, and if you have received a rejection letter, these people know all the ins and outs and can give you the best chance of getting FEMA assistance for your uninsured or underinsured expenses.
Bring photo ID, any estimates, repair or replacement receipts, and any insurance communication relating to tornado claims.
