A Festus man died Wednesday evening in a UTV accident on private property near Willow Springs.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Richard Wors, 42, died when he was ejected from a utility terrain vehicle after it ran off of the roadway and overturned. Wors was the passenger, the driver refused treatment.

This is the 36th fatality accident of the year in MSHP Troop G, compared to 39 at this time a year ago.
