Alton, MO. – A Birch Tree driver has been seriously injured on Friday, October 27th after crashing their vehicle.
Joel Marino was the driver in this accident. He was driving a Ford F150 while travelling Southbound on Highway 19, roughly eight miles North of Alton. Marino came to the top of a hill, and then swerved to avoid an oncoming vehicle. He then ran off the right side of the roadway and crashed.

The F150 was totaled in the event, and Joel was seriously injured. He was taken by ground ambulance conveyance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment. He was not wearing a safety device.
Investigation into this accident was performed by Trooper A.K. Falterman of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
