Kyle J. Salamone was arrested and taken to the Fulton County jail on the charges of Fleeing from an incident that occurred near Mammoth Spring.
The probable cause affidavit was filed on June 1st and Salamone was taken into custody on June 24th. Salamone was observed heading south on Highway 63 with no front fender and no signal markers in a 1980’s 300Z. When the Mammoth Spring officer tried to initiate a traffic stop Salamone began fleeing reaching speeds in excess of 100 mph, he then rear ended a SUV near the Wirth Road turn off and continued driving losing officers around the Britton Hill area.
Mammoth Spring Police Chief Jamie Turnbough went to the home of Salamone where he found the missing fender leaning up against a tree and the serial number confirmed it to be from a car that matched the suspects vehicle.
Salamone was taken into custody on June 24th and he is in the Fulton County Jail with a bond set at $25,000, he is scheduled to appear in court July 7th.
