The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control (DDCC) announces the arrest of Deanna M. Bone, 46, of Ringgold, GA, for her connection with a missing 2025 Wright County, MO juvenile. A coordinated effort between members of DDCC, Wright County Sheriff’s Office, West Plains Police Department, and Ringgold Police Department (GA) assisted with the investigation and safe return of the juvenile.
On October 16, 2025, the Wright County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance from the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Troop G Criminal Investigation Unit regarding a missing 14-year-old juvenile from Mansfield, MO. The juvenile was last seen on September 22, 2025.
During the investigation, DDCC investigators located another juvenile in Georgia, who had online communication with the missing juvenile that occurred prior to and leading up to her 2025 disappearance.
The investigation revealed that in September of 2025, Bone and a male juvenile traveled from Georgia to Missouri to pick up the 14-year-old juvenile in rural Wright County, MO. Investigators later obtained evidence placing Bone and the male juvenile in Wright County, MO, at the time of the juvenile’s disappearance. Bone then drove the 14-year-old to her residence in Ringgold, GA, where the juvenile resided until she was safely returned to her family on November 18, 2025.
At the conclusion of the investigation, DDCC investigators forwarded a probable cause
statement to the Wright County Prosecutor’s Office for consideration of formal charges. On
February 19, 2026, the Wright County Prosecuting Attorney formally charged Bone with one count of Interference with Custody (Removed from State). A warrant was issued for Bone’s arrest with the bond set at $5,000.00.
On March 3, 2026, Bone was arrested by members of the Ringgold Police Department. She
has a pending court date set in Wright County, MO.
The charge for which the above individual was arrested is a mere accusation and not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of this charge must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
