WEST PLAINS, MO. The Heart of the Ozarks Fair will be held Monday, June 1 through Saturday, June 6 at the Heart of the Ozarks Fairgrounds on North Highway 63 in West Plains, Mo. The fair features entertainment; carnival rides; food vendors; and livestock, agriculture, and fine arts shows.
There is no admission on Monday, June 1, for the 8:00 a.m. Junior Market Steer, Goat, Lamb and Swine Show, and the 9:00 a.m. Rabbit and Poultry Show. Judging for Home Economics, Fine Arts, Photography, and Fruits and Vegetables will be held.
Admission is free on Tuesday, June 2. Events include the Replacement Nanny, Gilt and Ewe Shows beginning at 10:00 a.m. Junior Flower Show Judging will be at 1:00 p.m. Livestock Auction will begin at 6:00 p.m. The carnival will be open from 6:00 to 11:00 p.m. with carnival rides $2.00 each.
Wednesday, June 3, gate admission is $5.00, and free for children ages 6 to 12. The Harper and Expo Buildings will be open from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. There will be a gospel concert at the Expo Building featuring the Final Authority and the Lester’s beginning at 6:00 p.m. Bring your lawnchair. The carnival will be open from 6:00 to 11:00 p.m. for Armband Night. Armbands are $25, and are available for purchase at carnival ticket booths.
Events on Thursday, June 4, begin with the Open Flower Show Judging at 1:00 p.m. An ATV Rodeo will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the grandstands. The Harper and Expo Buildings will be open from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. The carnival will be open from 6:00 to 11:00 p.m. for Armband Night. Armbands are $25, and are available for purchase at carnival ticket booths. Gate admission is $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for children ages 6 to 12, and free for children under six years of age.
Friday, June 5, features the Junior and Open Cattle Show and the Bucket Calf Show beginning at 9:00 a.m. The Harper and Expo Buildings will be open from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. The carnival will be open from 6:00 to 11:00 p.m. for Armband Night. Armbands are $25, and are available for purchase at carnival ticket booths. At 8:00 p.m., SMTTPA presents a Truck and Tractor Pull at the Grandstands.
