Heavy rain caused a 2019 GMC Acadia driven by an 18-year-old West Memphis man to hydroplane off of the highway and strike a tree.
The accident occurred on Highway 60 a mile and a half East of Norwood. The 11-year-old passenger was treated on the scene for minor injuries.
