The Howell County Health Department reports that an additional 3three cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to 165. Currently, there are 20 known active cases in the county. Of the 20 cases, two are currently hospitalized with COVID-19.
Two of the new cases reside in the Willow Springs area and the third lives in the West Plains area. All three cases are currently isolating under public health guidance.
One of the cases has been linked to a known case. The second case is considered community spread or the source of the infection cannot be identified and the third case is believed to be linked to recent out of state travel. Significant contacts to these cases have been notified by the health department.

If you visited this location during the date and time identified, you are at LOW risk for contracting COVID-19, but should monitor for symptoms. There is no need to self-quarantine or isolate unless you have symptoms develop. Anyone who develops symptoms of COVID-19 should contact their health care provider regarding testing and take all necessary precautions to avoid exposing others.
