HOEC has called a peak alert starting at 5 a.m. tomorrow, Monday, Jan. 26, 2026 due to the extreme cold weather. Energy usage during peak times affects the price we pay from our providers for the next fiscal year.
Electric demand is expected to reach a record level. We are asking all members to alternate the use of all major appliances, lower your thermostat a few degrees and unplug small appliances that are not in use. Your help makes a difference. #HOECPower
