A 20‑year‑old man from Danville, Illinois was moderately injured Friday afternoon in a single‑vehicle crash on U.S. 160, ten miles east of Gainesville. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the eastbound 2025 Hyundai Sonata ran off the left side of the roadway around 2:50 p.m., striking a chevron sign, several fence posts, and coming to rest against a tree.
The driver, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains.
