The listening area has been dealing with a dry and toasty late summer so far, and missing rain earlier this week means that we’ll be dealing with worsening drought conditions as we progress into September.
Current drought maps for Missouri and Arkansas show D-0 to D-2 drought conditions present within the listening area.

However, with temperatures lowering going into next week, and the possibility of rain on the horizon, conditions may lighten as we get past the labor day weekend.
