It’s Election Day! Cast Your Vote Before 7 p.m.

Today is Election Day, and voters across Howell County are heading to the polls to decide key races that will shape the future of their communities. Polls are open from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

One of the most closely watched local races is for an open seat on the West Plains City Council. Candidates Ron Grennan and Jarryd Alsup are on the ballot, with the winner set to serve a four-year term helping lead the city on issues ranging from infrastructure and public safety to long-term development and growth.

In addition to the West Plains race, voters will select school board members in several area districts including Richards R-V, Howell Valley R-I, Willow Springs R-IV, Mountain View-Birch Tree R-III, and Oregon-Howell R-III. Other municipal offices are also on the ballot in Mountain View, Willow Springs, and Brandsville, where positions such as mayor and alderman are being decided.
