A 61‑year‑old Kimberling City man was seriously injured Monday morning in a head‑on crash west of Gainesville, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Troopers report the crash happened at 11 a.m. on April 27 on County Road 827, about ten miles west of Gainesville. A northbound 2008 Subaru Outback and a southbound 2022 Kawasaki Mule met on a blind curve and struck head‑on, ejecting a passenger from the Mule.
According to the report, the injured passenger—a 61‑year‑old man from Kimberling City— suffered serious injuries. He was flown by Air Evac to Cox South in Springfield.
The drivers, a 54‑year‑old Gainesville woman in the Subaru and a 20‑year‑old Ozark man operating the Mule, were both wearing safety devices and were not listed as injured.
