The amount raised from the 2020 Lady Zizzer Pink Out game totaled $16,200, making it a record year for the event. According to Alexandra Malisheski, RN, BSN, OCN, Director of Oncology Services for OHC, patient needs are evaluated and funds from Pink Out are used to cover various expenses, including housing, transportation, bills, and more. On one particular occasion, Malisheski said the funds raised from the 2020 event covered two airline tickets for a patient’s family to visit while she was on hospice, allowing them to say goodbye before she passed.
