West Plains, MO. – A Lebanon man was sentenced to 180 days, roughly six months, of jail time after accepting a plea agreement in Howell County court on January 17th. Adam Colby Franklin, age 40 of Lebanon, accepted a plea agreement, pleading guilty to the felony crime of sexual misconduct involving a child under 15 – 1st offense for actions he committed on February 5, 2022.
According to the probable cause statement, Franklin had showed a picture of his erect penis and pornographic material from a site called “Tik Tit” on his cell phone to the underage victim while he stayed with her parents. Evidence gathered from Franklin’s cell phone showed that the statement given by the victim matched the internet history, as well as a search for the child’s name on another porn website two hours after the incident.
Franklin was sentenced to 180 days to be served at the Howell County Jail by Judge Robert Ray.
