Rolla, MO. – A man was severely injured following a crash that occurred on Monday, June 24, 2024.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, at 10:39 a.m., 2 miles south of Rolla, a male driving a 2006 Nissan Murano was traveling northbound on U.S. 63 when he failed to negotiate a turn and went off the right side of the roadway. He then struck a utility pole, totaling the vehicle. The male was identified as 71-year-old Paul Dietrich from Fairview Heights, Illinois. Deitrich was seriously injured in the crash and was transported via air to the University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
The crash was investigated by Trooper E.J. Walker and Trooper E.D. Leblanc of Troop I.
