Mammoth Spring Announces Spring, Summer 2026 Events

MAMMOTH SPRING, Ark. — A full slate of community events is planned in Mammoth Spring through the summer, offering residents and visitors a variety of opportunities to get involved, from seasonal celebrations to outdoor activities and local traditions.

Events begin April 4 with two offerings. An annual rabies clinic with Dr. Langley will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at Simmons Bank. Later that day, the Spring River Lions Club will host its Easter Egg Scramble at 2 p.m. at Mammoth Spring State Park near the ball field.

On April 18, the Mammoth Spring Federal Fish Hatchery will host an Earth Day event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The month continues with the Mammoth Spring Citywide Yard Sale scheduled for April 24 and 25.

In May, the Mammoth Spring Welcome Center will host Tourism Day on May 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Later in the month, the Great Spring River Clean-Up is set for May 27 at 9 a.m. at the Welcome Center. Reservations are required for those wishing to participate.

June activities begin with Arkansas Free Fishing Weekend, scheduled for June 5 through June 7. The event runs from noon Friday through midnight Sunday and allows residents and visitors to fish without a license. On June 24, Mammoth Spring State Park will host an Adopt-A-Highway Clean-Up beginning at 9:30 a.m. at Welcome Center #2.

One of the summer’s signature events, the Old Soldiers and Sailors Reunion, will take place July 14 through July 18 at Mammoth Spring State Park, sponsored by local VFW Post 7831.

Community clean-up efforts continue August 5 with another Adopt-A-Highway Clean-Up at 9:30 a.m. at Welcome Center #3. Later in the month, the Legacy of the Spring program will be held August 15 at 10 a.m. at the Mammoth Spring Welcome Center.

The schedule reflects Mammoth Spring’s continued focus on community engagement, outdoor recreation and long-standing local traditions throughout the year.
