WEST PLAINS, Mo. – On October 14, 2025, officers responded to a business on Davis Drive after employees reported an unknown man on the roof. The individual, identified as Charles Head, was found sitting near the edge and claimed he didn’t know how he got there.
Head had reportedly caused $1,500 in property damage, including to the gutter system, siding, and a window screen. After being assisted down and medically cleared, officers discovered methamphetamine and a red straw in his wallet during a search incident to arrest.
Head admitted to purchasing the substance, confirmed it was methamphetamine, and stated he intended to buy more later in the week. He was booked into the West Plains Jail on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Property Damage with a bond set at $5000.00.
