Mansfield Man Injured in Friday Crash

A Mansfield man suffered minor injuries Friday afternoon after his truck overturned northwest of town. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at 1:34 p.m. on Highway F, three miles northwest of Mansfield.

Troopers say the 72‑year‑old driver was heading south in a 2005 Mack truck when it ran off the right side of the roadway. He overcorrected, causing the vehicle to overturn. The truck sustained extensive damage and was towed from the scene.

The driver, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by private vehicle to the Ozarks Healthcare Clinic in Mansfield for treatment. Wright County deputies and the Mansfield Fire Department assisted at the scene.
