Landowners and deer enthusiasts are invited to join the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) and the National Deer Association (NDA) for a free Zoom webinar on Tuesday, Aug. 26, at 6 p.m. The event, titled “Wildflowers and Whitetails,” will focus on open-land habitat management strategies to enhance white-tailed deer populations.
The webinar will feature a presentation by an MDC private lands deer biologist, followed by a Q&A session with MDC and NDA experts. Participants will learn how wildflower-rich habitats can benefit deer and other wildlife on their properties.
This webinar is the third in the ongoing 2025 Missouri Deer Management Webinar Series. The final session in the series, “Utilizing Prescribed Fire for Deer Management,” will take place Sept. 9.
