A booking room search at the Ozark County Jail led to the discovery of methamphetamine and a prohibited vape pen, resulting in additional charges for multiple inmates.
Kelsie Guiltner, transported from Douglas County for a court appearance, was seen on surveillance removing a plastic baggie from her mouth and placing it on a railing. Jail staff recovered the item, which tested positive for 3.61 grams of methamphetamine.
Footage also showed Guiltner attempting to conceal a nicotine vape pen, which is prohibited unless purchased through commissary. Two other inmates were observed covertly handling the device to avoid detection.
Guiltner now faces additional charges including:
• Delivery or possession of a controlled substance at a county jail without prescription
• Delivery of a controlled substance—less than 35 grams of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoid to a person under 17 and at least two years younger
