An outdoor‑focused event is coming to the Ozarks as the Missouri Hunting Expo prepares to take over the West Plains Civic Center on Saturday, May 16. The expo runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is presented by the Missouri Bear Foundation.
According to event organizers, the expo will feature deer and bear scoring by the Missouri Show‑Me Big Buck Club, giving hunters an opportunity to have their trophies officially measured. The family‑friendly event will also include vendors, educational displays, and wildlife‑related activities.
Admission is $5, while children 12 and under, seniors 65 and older, veterans, military members, and first responders will be admitted free.
The expo aims to bring together hunters, conservationists, and outdoor enthusiasts from across the region for a day of community and education.
