Mountain Grove, MO – The Mountain Grove High School went on lockdown Wednesday afternoon after police were alerted to a possible threat against the school. The lockdown went into effect shortly after 3 p.m.
Mountain Grove Police went to the school to investigate the possible threat. The investigation concluded at approximately 3:30 p.m. when the threat was determined to be unfounded.
The MGPD said in a post on their Facebook page “We appreciate your patience, but any rumor has to be investigated thoroughly when it comes to safety of our children.”
