On January 24, 2025, Douglas County Sgt. Aaron Box and Detective Nathan Long attempted to contact Brian Keith Minier age 55 of Mountain Grove regarding a burglary case they were investigating. Minier had an active warrant for absconding from Probation and Parole. It was discovered that Minier had removed his GPS bracelet and had it in his closet.
Minier hid inside the residence and refused to unlock the door. Deputies made entry through the front door and a side window where Minier was taken into custody without further incident.
Minier was placed on a 24-hour hold and a warrant was issued for Tampering with Electronic Monitoring Equipment and Resisting/interfering with arrest for a felony Bond was set at $25,000 cash only.
