From the Mountain View Police Department:
On June 13, 2025, Assistant Chief Schwien of the Mountain View Police Department responded to a reported disturbance at a residence in Mountain View.
Upon arrival, Assistant Chief Schwien observed an adult female, later identified as Bobbi Jo Bryson, physically assaulting a juvenile in the yard. A second juvenile was nearby holding an infant and appeared visibly distressed.
Bryson, who showed signs of heavy intoxication, was immediately detained. The juvenile victim sustained visible injuries including red marks and a bleeding ear. A broken necklace was also observed at the scene.
All three children were evaluated by EMS and released into the care of a safe family member.
Bryson was transported to the Mountain View Police Department and later taken to the Howell County Jail on a 24-hour hold.
Charges submitted include:
• Endangering the Welfare of a Child in the First Degree under RSMo 568.045
• Two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child in the Second Degree under RSMo 568.050
