After several hours of searching by multiple agencies, Elizabeth Miller has been taken into custody. Sheriff Akers will be submitting formal charges to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
On November 8, 2025, multiple law enforcement agencies worked together in an extensive search operation that led to Miller’s apprehension. This operation was led by Sheriff Kristi Akers, with assistance from Wright County Corporal Dee Gustin, Agent Avery Crisp with the Missouri Department of Conservation, the Mountain Grove Police Department, the Mansfield Police Department, members of the Wright County Special Operations Group, and Troopers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
During Miller’s arrest, she was found in possession of approximately 3.5 grams of methamphetamine. Sheriff Akers will be forwarding formal charges to the Wright County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for two counts of Resisting Arrest, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
