A 59-year-old Norwood man was seriously injured in an accident Thursday morning five miles east of Ava on Highway 76.
The accident occurred when he went off the right side of the roadway on a 2002 Harley Davidson, and struck a fence, ejecting him.

He was transported to Cox South in Springfield by ambulance.
