Springfield, MO. – The National Weather Service has had a lot of work to do so far in 2025, with the latest set of storms on Easter weekend giving them more to go.
The latest damage survey has been completed, and an EF-0 tornado was confirmed near Hartville, Missouri.

The National Weather Service says this tornado touched down near Highway 5, just before 5pm on April 20th. The length of its path stretched around 1 and a third miles, and moved at 80mph. While damage is relatively minor, trees were damaged or uprooted, and a house was dealt significant roof damage due to falling limbs.
