Mt. Vernon, MO. – A pair of juveniles and one adult from Mansfield have been injured following an accident on May 15th.
This accident was investigated by Corporal D.B. Blankenship of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop D. Their report states that a Chrysler Town & Country, driven by Rance Ellis, 50 of Mountain Grove, was rear-ended by a Chevy Malibu on Interstate 44 in Mount Vernon.

The driver of the Malibu, a 20-year-old Illinois resident, was uninjured in the crash. In the Chrysler however, Tassie Ellis, 52 of Mansfield MO., and a pair of male juveniles, 5 and 12, sustained injuries. They were transported to Mercy Hospital in Aurora for treatment.
All injured individuals were wearing their safety devices at the time of the collision.
