Success, MO. – An out-of-control fire near Success prompted the response of three different agencies around the area.
The Roby Fire Department made the announcement about the fire, stating that winds were allowing the fire to continuously jump fire lines. The location was close to Venable Drive, said officials.

The fire began as a brush fire that quickly got out of control, leading to four acres being burned. The fire was successfully contained after a dozer was implemented to create effective fire lines.
Memmbers of the U.S. Forest Service and Houston Rural were present to assist.
