GAINESVILLE, Mo. — The Ozark County Sheriff’s Office has announced three recent felony arrests carried out by deputies in the Brixey area.
On August 23, 2025, Deputy Moss and Deputy Ryan located and arrested Newt Souder on an active felony warrant. Souder was taken into custody at a residence in Brixey and booked into the Ozark County Jail. No booking photo was provided.
Two days earlier, on August 21, Deputy Moss and Lt. Rhoades conducted a traffic stop in Brixey involving Dustin Souder, pictured above, who is currently on felony probation for weapons and drug violations. Deputies reported finding another firearm inside the vehicle. Souder was arrested for felon in possession of a firearm. No booking photo was released.
On August 7, Deputy Moss and Lt. Rhoades arrested Gloria Barrett at her residence on an active felony warrant. She was taken to jail and booked on the warrant.
The Sheriff’s Office noted that these arrests reflect the ongoing efforts of deputies to locate and apprehend individuals with outstanding warrants and probation violations in Ozark County.
