Springfield, MO – April 6th, 2026 – The Ozark Mountain Conference is thrilled to announce its second annual Art Exhibit and Competition, showcasing the exceptional talent of high school artists from across the region. Selected student artwork will be on display at the Ozark Technical Community College Information Commons Building (1001 E. Chestnut Expressway, Springfield, MO 65802) from April 7th – 17th, where the artwork was judged by esteemed area art professionals. Awards will be presented at the conclusion of the exhibit.
Participating high schools include Carl Junction, Bolivar, Branson, Hillcrest, Logan-Rogersville, Marshfield, and West Plains. Each institution selected up to 30 outstanding pieces for competition in a variety of 2D and 3D categories.
West Plains students earned ribbons in many categories:

Ocyrus Godina – 1st Place in Mixed Media 2D
Ocyrus Godina – 2nd Place in 3D Design
Brylie Orsborn – 2nd Place in Colored Pencil
Lyla Kelly – 2nd Place in Charcoal
Cora Bryce, Ocyrus Godina, Bryson Kittrell, Emily Ritter – 2nd Place in Group Project
June Woods – 3rd Place in Graphite
Melak Tekle – 3rd Place in Ink & Markers Drawing
Alexis Cruz Martinez – 3rd Place in Printmaking
Gisheilla Adam – Honorable Mention in Printmaking
Brylie Orsborn – Honorable Mention in 3D Design
The exhibition will culminate in a closing reception on April 24th from 5:00 – 7:00 at the
Jared Family Atrium, at which awards will be announced, and students will have the
opportunity to celebrate their achievements. Guests will enjoy refreshments and a live
performance by the Ozarks Tech Jazz Combo.
