WEST PLAINS, MISSOURI- Ozarks Healthcare has announced the addition of Dr. Jordan Lane, D.O to its dermatology team. Lane brings acquired clinical experience, advanced training, and research expertise to patients in the area and across the region.
Lane recently completed his residency through the NRMC Still OPTI program at Cleaver Dermatology in Kirksville, Missouri. His extensive background began when he received Biology and Nursing degrees through Arkansas State University, followed by a Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from the New York Institute of Technology at Arkansas State College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Prior to working in dermatology, Lane worked as a critical care nurse at St. Bernard’s Medical Jonesboro, Arkansas. In addition to his clinical training, Lane has contributed to the field through publishing journal articles in reputable journals such as the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology and Cereus.
Lane has also made strides in the area of dermatology by working as an investigator in multiple phase III clinical trials focused on skin conditions.
Lane says his goal has been to return to a “rural area” to fill the constant need of health providers after seeing a deficit while growing up in Southeast Missouri.
Lane is particularly passionate about treating skin cancer and performing surgical procedures, as well as managing chronic skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, and hidradenitis suppurativa.
He also adds that dermatology he likes the wide range of ages in patients he gets to treat but also the quality of his patients lives and knowing each patient on a personal level.
