Reflection Plaza Dedication May 17th

The Lincoln School Project invites the public to a special Dedication Ceremony for Reflection Plaza on Saturday, May 17, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at the historic Lincoln School, located at 1400 Pony Thomas Street in West Plains. This new addition marks a profound moment in the region’s cultural and historical recognition. Reflection Plaza is the first of its kind in Howell County and features two life-sized bronze statues that pay tribute to the students and teachers of the Lincoln School era. The memorial captures the resilience, perseverance, and dignity of those who lived through segregation and played a vital role in shaping the local community. There will be several special guests participating in the dedication.
