At 2:29 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, resident Randy Williams, DOC No.
1168848, confined at South Central Correctional Center, was pronounced dead at the
South Central Correctional Center medical unit in Licking, Missouri.
Williams was a 37-year-old resident serving a 20-year sentence for one count of
possession of a controlled substance, one count of unlawful use of a weapon, two
counts of resisting arrest, one count of forgery, one count of unlawful firearm, one count
of first-degree robbery, one count of armed criminal action, three counts of second
degree assault from St. Louis County, and one count of possession of a weapon at a
correctional facility from Pike County.
Williams was received in the Missouri Department of Corrections on April 26, 2017.
An autopsy will be conducted.
